Spring cleaning

Now, while both Ad Campers live in the Rocky Mountain West where spring often takes its sweet time to arrive, we’d like to pay homage to a natural spring ritual of our native Midwest. That is of course, the mating ritual of the Greater Prairie Chicken. Male G.P.C.s catch the attention of the ladies by stomping their feet, shaking their feathers and “booming”—a sound made by inflating the colorful air sacks on either side of their neck.

So what is it about leaves budding and earth thawing that makes us humans want to cut off our hair, shave that beard or finally organize the garage? Spring makes us do crazy things too, but instead of parading our plumage or shedding our winter fur to appear more attractive to a potential mate, we paint our bathrooms, take off our snow tires and wash our dust ruffles.

We swear, there is a natural correlation in there somewhere.

At Ad Camp Creative, we’ve taken the vernal overhaul to a virtual level. Tired of the same old html, we’ve spruced up our website and have added a couple features we hope make us more appealing to potential clients—one of them being this little blog feature here where we’ll keep you up-to-date with our comings and goings. Also, check out our new client survey. We hope you’ll fill it out so we can get to know you a little better. Tour the whole site, stay awhile, get comfortable. You may think we’re coming on a little strong, but it’s just that time of year. Just be happy we don’t have feathers.

pepi ginsberg in concert Pepi Ginsberg combines peppy melodies with dark, moody lyrics in her music. Last fall Daytrotter.com asked us to design a poster for her first headlining tour.
